Designed by world-renowned architecture firm Diller Scorfidio + Renfro, the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive is a dynamic combination of the existing 1939 Art Deco-style printing plant and a new addition clad with metal skin. The building features museum galleries, the PFA film theater, viewing rooms, a seminar room, art labs, a library film study center, café and store, and administrative offices.
