1950 Mission

Project Description

Anning-Johnson handled various trade disciplines such as framing, plaster, drywall, and rain screen for a demanding project. Despite the challenges posed by an aggressive schedule and a determined client, the project was designated Essential and continued during the COVID pandemic. The development features a range of amenities, including a rooftop garden, courtyard, community room, kitchen, and a bike workshop aimed at educating local youth on bike maintenance. Additionally, the space will offer neighborhood-service retail space for nonprofits and entrepreneurs, along with affordable gallery and workspaces for the Mission District artist community.
