This project involved transforming the highest floor of Portland's leading children's hospital into a state-of-the-art Family Birthing Center. The Center boasts top-notch amenities including water birthing options, OR suite, and each room offering stunning panoramic views of Portland's skyline with luxurious finishes. The primary challenge was working amidst an operational hospital on the ninth floor, necessitating careful noise management to ensure minimal disruption to patients below. Our scope of work included metal framing, fireproofing, drywall installation, ACT, wood ceilings, aluminum window closures, and acoustical drywall ceilings.
